BIOGRAPHY

DIETETICSIn 2009, Natalie obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Guelph in  Applied Human Nutrition and then completed a year-long Dietetic Internship at the Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton, New Brunswick. Natalie currently operates a private dietetic practice and works part-time as a Registered Dietitian at the University Health Network, Toronto Western Hospital.

ORIGINS – Natalie grew up in Clarkson, Mississauga, just steps away from Lake Ontario and Watersedge Park. Her playing grounds consisted of the nearby Rattray Marsh and Lewis Bradley Museum. She attended Whiteoaks Public School, Hillcrest Middle School and Lorne Park Secondary School.

DANCE – Natalie began dancing at the age of four with the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance School and later studied classical ballet and modern dance at the Christina Pora Balaceanu Classical Dance Academy in Mississauga, Ontario. She maintained interest in Ukrainian folk dancing and went on to perform and teach with other companies, including the Arkan Dance Company and the Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. She began her career as a professional contemporary dancer with Les Ateliers de Danse Moderne de Montréal Inc. (LADMMI) in Montreal, Quebec, where she worked with renowned choreographers such as Sasha Ivanochko, Roger Sinha and Dominique Porte. Natalie retired from dancing to pursue a career in dietetics.
